Human beings are born with an inate need to connect to others. Additional some people like coke, some like pepsi, some like pasta some like salad, and on and on.
This ability to connect with others outside the "expected" norms makes life much more interesting. Plus I personally think it is totally hot!!!! :)

I think its hotter with someone of a different race thats why God mad us all different it would be so dull if we all had similar appearances. Lets celebrate our diversity.

Everyone has a physical preference. Whether it's blonde hair & blue eyes, short, tall, slim or husky. No one can help what they are physically attracted to. That being said, it really is what the person is made of inside that can turn an average looking man/woman into an icon of beauty, and conversely, a paragon of physical beauty into something ugly and unnatractive. I've been attracted to black men since I was old enough to feel attraction, however, not just ANY black man!! There must be substance, kindness, intelligence and humor. But that's just my preference.

In high I was always told I "talked like a white girl". In actuality, I spoke like my mother; a well educated black woman. It was a sad commentary, the correlation made between intelligence and race. The best relationship I ever had was with Matthew. He never saw me as black. He saw me as "Kimberly". I never saw Matthew as white, just "Mat". He never tried to act like anything outside of who he was around me, my family and my friends. We were "different" in many respects but he loved watching me dance around the kitchen in a "oh that's my song!" moment (but would rather eat glass than to go to a club with me) and I loved watching him play "air guitar" and throw up "devil horns" when he rocked it out in the basement. We knew we were from different worlds sometimes but we each developed a sincere respect for both of those worlds. I don't mean to come across as preachy and I know there must have been an easier way to make my point. What I'm trying to say here is that in my opinion, the key to IR dating is not to be "color blind" but to see the cultural differences that make us who we are and respect those differences.

I agree as well. Race shouldn't be a factor in life. What is on the inside is what should count. I think interracial dating adds a new 'flava' to a relationship and makes life that much more fun and interesting. When you have this type of relationship, you both value each other for who you truly are...pure and simple.
Happy dating and good luck...

I agree with Solong, the dating is HOT! We are here to connect with one another and race/color shouldn't matter. I enjoy getting to know other races because we are all so diverse. I have dated mostly black men but I am opening my pool as I realize I may never find a black men who loves and appreciates me while realizing how many men of other races love the same things about me that black men seem to despise. So I am all for IR dating!!!

There is nothing hotter than beating the odds. It is our natural desire to connect with others and love, what is unnatural is bring color and race into it; which does not matter anyway as it will not stop anything.
